This horrific photo originates from a member of the German Einsatzgruppe D, and comes from his personal album. The photo is simply labeled on the back as "The Last Jew of Vinnitsa." It shows a Jewish man about to be executed in front of a mass grave near Vinnitsa, Ukraine. All 28,000 Jews from the surrounding area were massacred by the Einsatzgruppen at the time.
